The Jervis Bay Visitor Information Centre is located within the Museum and provides visitors with information, brochures and maps of the Jervis Bay area.

Read more trending_flatIn 1988 Mr Warren Halloran gifted the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum his internationally significant collection of maritime and scientific instruments. Now known as the Halloran Collection, it was collected over many years and consists of 2,182 objects including paintings, navigational and scientific instruments. Notable items include historic naval memorabilia pertaining to the Battle of Cape St Vincent in 1797, the bell from the Sabraon (later renamed HMAS Tingira), the first training ship of the Royal Australian Navy.
In 2020 Warren Halloran bequested the complete business archive of Henry F. Halloran & Co. to the Museum. Spanning sixty years of urban and economic development in New South Wales from 1898 until 1953.
These collections represent the most significant gifts that the Museum has received through the Deductible Gift Recipients program.
The Jervis Bay Maritime Museum acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which the Museum is situated. We pay our respects to the Aboriginal Elders past, present and emerging, who are the knowledge holders and teachers. We acknowledge their continued spiritual and cultural connection to the land and sea country of Jervis Bay.
